Gon Freecss is the main protagonist of the Hunter Hunter series. He is the son of the famous Hunter named Jin Freecss, and the adopted nephew of Mito. Gon decided to become a Hunter in order to find his father, but has no interest in his mother.
Just like his father, Gon is a true combat genius and Nen master. In fact, his various mentors, such as Wing, Biscuit, and Kaito, were impressed by the speed at which Gon developed, going from a beginner with no knowledge of Nen to an expert capable of competing with the best Nen users in just a few months.
Gon is a user of Enhancement, which gives him great strength and enhanced recovery abilities. A natural user of Zetsu, Gon has the talent of one in a million. Though described by Kaito as “starting slowly”, Gon’s main strength in combat is his ability to increase the size of his aura during a confrontation.
His Hatsu is called Jajanken, a reference to the Japanese Rock-Paper-Scissors. Jajanken is made up of three parts, with Gons main attack being “Rock“, a simple but devastating punch that channels all of his enhanced aura.
