ANDROID 20, from “Dragon Ball Z”, joins SHFiguarts! The included expression parts let you recreate his initial “left-handed” appearance, with additional scream and sneer options. Very nice collectible figurine. Android 20, also known as Dr. Gero, is a major character from the “Androids/Cell” arc in the Dragon Ball Z series, created by Akira Toriyama. He is a genius scientist who worked for the Red Ribbon Army, an antagonistic group present in the original Dragon Ball series. After the defeat of the Red Ribbon Army at the hands of Goku, Dr. Gero devoted himself to creating androids for the purpose of revenge. Unable to design an android capable of surpassing Goku’s abilities, he decides to transform his own body into an android, becoming Android 20. As Android 20, he possesses combat abilities superior to those of Goku. a normal human, as well as the ability to absorb the energy of his opponents. However, he ultimately proves inferior to several of the Z Warriors, most notably Vegeta and Piccolo. In the “Cell” arc, Dr. Gero/Android 20 awakens his other creations, Android 17 and Android 18, in hopes that they will help him fight the Z warriors.
