Apeks Surface Marker Buoy

Furthermore, both sides of the SMB include high-quality Solas reflective tape panels. These panels ensure maximum visibility. This visibility is crucial in rough seas and during darkness. Additionally, brass eyelets exist at the SMB’s end. These eyelets allow divers to fold the unit. Then, they can secure it into a floating loop. They achieve this using bolt snaps.

A simple bungee closure system is present. It features an enlarged rubber pull tab. Consequently, stowage and deployment are easy. This ease of use remains even when you wear gloves.

A 2 stainless steel D-ring allows for simple attachment. Attach it to your reel or spool. Two brass eyelets are located at the top of the SMB. You can attach a torch, strobe, or slate. Also, you can fold the SMB and use it as an emergency float.
