Aki Hayakawa is a Public Safety Devil Hunter and a member of Tokyos Special Division 4. He has made contracts with the Curse Devil and the Future Devil, and previously with the Fox Devil.

Aki typically appears as a stoic individual. He acts mature and dependable around his fellow Devil Hunters but is actually quite gentle when alone. He tends to form bonds easily and hates to see others sufferespecially those he cares about.

Unlike many of his colleagues, Himeno described him as a normal person, meaning he still mourns the dead and hasnt numbed his emotions. Even so, hes incredibly determined, driven primarily by revenge against the Gun Devil for killing his family. However, hes fully willing to risk his own life to save otherseven though he fears death and it may cost him his goal.
