Perona, nicknamed “The Ghost Princess” due to her powers, was the leader of the Zombie Animals and the Zombie Ambush of Thriller Bark before the fall of Gecko Moria.

Perona joined Moria’s crew when she was young, and she considers him as her father.

She was one of the main antagonists of the Thriller Bark Arc, as she was part of the Monster Quartet with Doctor Hogback, Absalom, and Gecko Moria.

However, during the time skip, she became a sort of ally to the Straw Hat Pirates by helping Roronoa Zoro on Dracule Mihawk’s island, and by assisting them in leaving the Sabaody Archipelago.
