Trunks is one of the main characters in Dragon Ball. He is the son of Vegeta and Bulma. Therefore, King Vegeta is his paternal grandfather, Mr. Brief is his maternal grandfather, Mrs. Brief is his maternal grandmother, Bra is his sister, and Tarble is his uncle.

Trunks has the unique feature of existing twice in the story. Indeed, the first Trunks who appears at the beginning of the Android Saga comes from the future and returns to the past in an alternate timeline thanks to a Time Machine designed by Bulma, his mother.
