Kurapika is the last survivor of the Kuruta clan . He is a Hunter bounty hunter and the current leader of the organization founded by Light Nostrade . He is a member of the Zodiacs with the code name “Rat”. His goal is to avenge his clan and retrieve the Scarlet Eyes taken from his clan by the Ghost Brigade.

He takes on the role of the main protagonist in the York City arcs and the current Succession/Dark Continent arc . He was also a major player in the Hunters review arc where he befriended Leorio, Kurapika and Gon .
